Only 200 break in miles on a complete rotisserie restoration!
This Original 340 Triple Black 'Cuda was purchased missing the original drive-train. The most logical solution? Add a fresh, all aluminum, custom tuned, 750+ horsepower dyno'd, fire breathing $30,000 Tim Banning (FHO) 572 Hemi! This engine was specifically tuned to perform and not be too radical for street use, it's a killer street set up and it was made to look bone stock! That alone wasn't good enough, so an original 18 spine hemi 4-speed trans was found, fully rebuilt and installed. It also has a new high performance Center force clutch. The owner wanted the best of the best for this car so he sourced an original shaker set up for $4000, an NOS original rim blow for $1200, as well as a ton of other original NOS bits and pieces. Overall the owner has over $130,000 into this car! Everything top to bottom is new or rebuilt. To round out the options, the car has fender mounted turn signals, remote drivers mirror, power steering and brakes, rallye dash, buckets, console and painted steelies for that sinister look! The rear end is an original Dana 60 with 456 gears (we can change the gear if you'd prefer something more highway friendly!) All suspension, braking and steering components are new/rebuilt.
The car is clean, straight, and solid The paint is a single stage acrylic urethane and was done to original specs, including the factory overspray underneath... you could mistake this car for having original paint!
When viewing this car...please keep in mind, this is an original 340 'Cuda, not a clone. You cannot even come close to building this car in this configuration for the asking price. Here it is... done, turn key, no waiting for a year plus to be built, with great options and color! If you would like the original 340 drive train for this car, we do have some very good leads you can follow up on as to where it is...
