1968 Plymouth GTX
Fully Rebuilt, 440 Magnum,
with original Factory Build sheet from the rear seat !!
This nicely restored 1968 GTX is in very good condition. The car is clean, straight and solid, with amazing eye appeal. All factory seems around the doors, trunk, hood etc... are clean and solid. Body lines are crisp. The QQ-1 blue paint is in very good condition also. All chrome and bright work is in good condition with only minor scratches or pits in a couple of areas. Front and rear bumpers are re-chromed and in excellent condition. The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears. The carpet, seats, door panels and headliner are brand new. The dash is in good condition with no cracks and only minor wear. The engine bay is nicely detailed and ready for any car show! The awesome stance, sound and attitude of this car, turns heads at every corner!
I have not verified the numbers but according to the previous owner and the provided appraisal the 440 engine, 727 automatic transmission and 8 3/4 sure-grip with 3:23 gears is the original numbers matching driveline. The Transmission and engine are fully rebuilt, with a 484 Hemi grind cam for that extra performance kick! The car runs, drives and sounds awesome. The Brakes, Power Steering, front end and suspension have be done also. This car is turn key and ready to go!
I have a number of high quality photos posted below, please be patient while they load!
Overall the condition of this car is an 80-85 out of 100. As with any classic that has been enjoyed there are a few minor flaws. The GTX grill emblem was cracked so a new one is on order, and comes with the car. If you would like to arrange to view the car in person, just ask. I'm available anytime up till 11pm e.s.t.
