A-12 440 Six Pack
Sorry It's Sold.....
Unmolested, Rust Free, All Original paint, Numbers Matching, A-12 Lift off hood Super Bee!!!
This car has been off the road since 1972, when it had a mild gas tank fire. The only damage caused by the fire was to the trunk lid, the very center of the rear tail light panel and some scorching of the paint. I have a replacement rust-free trunk lid already, and tail lights. I have a fully restored tail molding for it and the rear tail panel is easily fixable. The car also has a fixable dent on the front passenger fender and some other small minor dings and dents. Except for these areas, you would never even consider painting this car, that is how nice it is! This car has sat in a dry building for the last 35 years, I don't even think there is a pinhole in the car, that is how solid it is!
This Bee has 31000 original miles, the original numbers matching engine has been completely disasembled, rebuilt, and is sitting on a stand waiting to go back in the car. The numbers matching hemi 4-speed transmission and 4:10 Dana rear are still in the car. The original fender tag is present and there is a build sheet still under the rear seat from another bee, I haven't searched for any other build sheets yet.. The car still has the original title from the last time it was on the road in 1972.
You could put the engine back in, fire it up and drive it as is with a neat story to tell, but... the car has the potential to be the best of the best with a proper rotisserie restoration. It is a very easy project worth allot of money when completed.
I will sell this car done, turn key, with a high quality rotisserie restoration to show quality for $129,995/obo.
If you don't want to take it that far, I'd also be willing to do a cosmetic restoration for $99,995.
I do not really want to sell this car as it sits, but if you want it that way, I'd consider letting it go for $75,000.
I'm also open to desirable musclecar trades... no Harley's please...
If you have any questions or would like to make arrangements to see the car in person, you can email or call anytime up till 10 pm e.s.t.
